Merman Knight

This was done many years ago, in the 80's I suspect. It was done originally as a cover for our local SCA shires newsletter cover. The design is based on Parade armor from the 1500's. I wanted to have a helm made like that...but it was never to be. I had to use photoshop to darken the black back to how it was since it has faded over the years. The Arms on the shield (as much as you can see) are mine. "Merman Knight" marker, white Acrylic on Canson paper, 5 1/2 x 8. Original and prints available.
