Son of Ryu Jin Zu (color)

Another old picture that was originaly black and white and then got colored. This was done in 1994 and is based on the Japanese and Chinese legends that trace their royal line from the mateing of a Dragon and a human female. He is the first son of that mateing! I went crazy in the black and white doing subtle detailed shadding of each scale. The color realy made it pop! I think it was originaly 8 1/2 x 5, marker on art paper. The color version is Acrylic and watercolor colored pencil on cardstock.
